The bar trolley for PERRIER JOUËT is a puzzle of very precise drawers with the finest gap dimensions. How many prototypes were necessary before you got it to work? There was never a prototype, but there were many, many experiments in mould making. We had to adapt individual moulded parts time and again and experimented with materials while doing so. We looked at it as a study, with cost effectiveness not necessarily being the primary concern.
Solid wood, veneer surfaces and lacquered surfaces – how high is HAUS F’s vertical range of manufacture? Within the dimensions of our workshop, our vertical range of manufacture is unlimited – we work in line with the well-known quote: “Everyone said it couldn’t be done. Then someone who hadn’t heard that came along and did it”.
